Our client is seeking a Sales Engineer to manage existing accounts in Wichita, KS. 

Our client is a world-class manufacturer of precision cutting tools for industrial applications. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within the distribution or retail sales channel. Creates awareness and demand for company products. 
 
Technical Requirements:
  • REQUIRED: 3+ Years Engineering/Machining Background
  • REQUIRED: Must be able to troubleshoot machining problems
  • PREFERRED: 3+ Years Technical Sales Experience
  • PREFERRED: Engineering/Technical or Business Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team oriented, self-motivated, and results driven
  • Demonstrated project management experience
Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business inquiries and explore opportunities for Cutting Tool Sales.
  • Understand, develop, and grow sales by establishing high levels of customer confidence and positive customer relationships.
  • Conduct product training seminars. 
  • Monitor processes and provide reports on progress and achievement of business objectives.
  • Manage, coach, and develop budgets and sales plans, maintain pipelines, and other key initiatives.
  • Responsible for representing customer requests and perspectives to production and management personnel to plan and execute proper “customer first” support.
