Our client is looking for an influential Mortgage Loan Officer to be based at one of their branches in Williamson County TN.

Job Description:
The Mortgage Loan Officer will assist customers with their mortgage lending needs, which includes analyzing loan requests and making credit decisions based on mortgage lending policy.
·         Reviews and evaluates information on mortgage loan documents to determine if borrower, property, and loan conditions meet bank and regulatory standards. Approves or rejects loan application, or requests additional information. Establishes terms and conditions of an approved loan and reviews with customer.
·         Markets the bank's mortgage lending program to companies and individuals within the real estate community.
·         Cross-sells other bank services.
·         Evaluates acceptability of loan on secondary mortgage markets.
·         Assists in collection of past due items.
·         Keeps informed of current trends in mortgage lending and market factors affecting mortgage lending.
·         Performs other duties as assigned.
  •          Comply with the letter and with the spirit of the company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  •          Maintain the confidentiality of the customer and any other sensitive information.
  •          Produce assigned loan volume (dollars and/or numbers).
  •          Maintain loan portfolio within the standards established for delinquencies and charged-off loans.
  •          Ensure that all approved loans comply with established loan standards.
  •          Maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for customers and co-workers.
  •          Maintain knowledge of all mortgage products and rates, both within the company and from the industry overall.
  •          Complete required training and undertake additional training as needed to increase job knowledge and maximize productivity.
  •          Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of regulations and bank procedures.
  •          Comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and other laws and regulations.
  •          Be punctual and have regular attendance.
  •          A college degree and a professional certificate or a graduate degree.
  •          Five to eight years of similar or related experience.
  •          Experience in analyzing financial statements and assessing borrower’s ability to repay (required)
  •          Excellent communication and PR skills (required)
  •          Ability to use related software required.
  •          Significant level of trust, diplomacy, courtesy and tact are required.
  •          Ability to work with extensive personal contact with others that is of a personal or sensitive nature.
  •          Ability to motivate, influence, and train others.
  •          Experience and ability to foster sound relationships with other entities, as well as influence and sell ideas or services to others.
