Our client is a world-class manufacturer of precision cutting tools for industrial applications. The Business Strategy Manager will partner with company leaders in establishing and prioritizing business objectives that promote opportunities for the company while protecting it from risk.
 
Technical Requirements:
  • REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree
  • REQUIRED: Cutting Tool Industry Experience
  • PREFERRED: Bilingual - Spanish and/or Japanese
  • PREFERRED: Masters Degree
Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze market and competitive information to develop effective strategies for account growth.
  • Continuously monitors company and market performance to determine if strategies need to be adjusted or new strategies should be introduced.
  • Responsible for leading the organization through strategic changes and getting positive results.
  • Introduces metrics designed to track the effects of action plans and determine whether the actions are effective at meeting targets or whether new plans should be developed.
  • Responsible for developing and interpreting analytical reports used to measure change.
  • Provide direction and guidance for process improvement and account governance policies and represent the account to various customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead and contribute expertise to cross-functional teams to address complex business issues.
  • Consult with business executives and deliver insights to drive strategic initiatives and corporate prioritization.
  • Plan and execute new product launches and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the group.
  • Develop financial models for business unit leaders to make decisions for near and long-term strategies.
  • Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
  • Provide strategic business input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers.
  • Act as an advisor from the business perspective on any contracts into which the Corporation may enter.
  • Ability to build a workplace culture that is capable of executing change to meet business objectives.
