  • Proactively, identifies, locates and qualifies new business leads by making the necessary volume of calls or emails to schedule the appropriate number of meetings for a travel week.
  • Travels to call on existing and prospective clients with the purpose of sustaining and growing market share, promoting and selling company services and execute in-depth selling in all accounts – airline travel 40-45%.
  • Plans, coordinates, and conduct sales presentations to inform, persuade, educate and close business; interact with programs to learn purchasing options, limitations and capabilities
  • Follows up with clients via email and phone calls after meetings in an effort to obtain new business.
  • Researches resources to educate and get familiar with equipment .
  • Prepares for travel and meetings by working with the travel agency to schedule travel, compiling materials for meetings, researching prospects websites for any additional beneficial information, proofreading quotes, and reading vendor contracts.
  • Follows up with clients on endorsement quotes in an effort to add additional equipment to the program.
  • Delivers initial presentations via conference call for Marketing leads and continue to follow up.
  • Continuously updates our CRM program (Sugar) in order to track any and all sales opportunities.
  • Submits weekly sales report as required by sales manager.
  • Attends monthly department meetings and training sessions, and/or weekly Federal Business meetings.
  • Attends trade shows to obtain new prospects and increase awareness of the program.


  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 2013 Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must have strong customer service, organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Be adaptable to change and can demonstrate strong initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to self-manage a work load and handle multiple accounts, and work with people at all levels of an organization
  • Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting; develop strategic account business plans and own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Must have positive attitude, high energy and have a passion to provide high quality customer service.
